Book Review: Journey (The Beast Wtihn, #3)

Author: Melissa Crowe

Ian has been summoned by the Goddess Danu to the Otherworld, and Karina will not let him go without a fight.

With a Tutha De Danann that is unable to cross water, getting from Australia to Ireland will make for an interesting journey. Supernatural beings, sworn enemies and the full moon are only half of the risk as they try to cross three continents. Drug smuggling, guerrilla kidnapping and lycans on the prowl will hamper their travels.

Davarus, self-proclaimed King of the lycanthropes is building an army and on the move. Danger faces these forbidden lovers at every turn.

Would you travel to the ends of the earth for the one you love?

The Beast Within

If it was a little bit longer maybe I'd like it but that was not for me. Everything happened in a rush and I couldn't like it. And I thought Xavier is good, in short the book destroyed that feeling a little while after. So I was like "OK no more please" at the end. Maybe other books are better.

Haunted

That was better than the first one but still there were pieces I don't like. This time the enemy was stronger and even it was too easy to guess they couldn't find it at first. He kidnapped Karina and almost killed her. With helps of Ian and his brother Ronan, they won this battle. But after everything this time Karina has bigger problem: Ian can die. Because Ian is protector, he couldn't get involve romantically with a Tuatha. But he's in love with her and Ronan doesn't approve it. He'll report this and maybe this will cause his brother's life. In the third book we'll all learn it.

Better than first but I find everything so easy in these novellas. I hope the third one will be the best

Journey

Just like the first book, everything was going faster and faster. It's a short story actually, but sometime in the book I couldn't catch everything on the book. Firstly their road plan was so complicated, then came a lot of new characters, and the lycantrop danger was so easy to run away. Karina was so stubborn, I was surprised when the Danu accepted her conditions so easily. And that mystery man who will be teacher of Karina was not someone I liked.

There was so many things I couldn't like, I can see that book was not my thing. I get confused every time I try to focus the story. I think I'm done with the series too. I really liked the second one though.
